About
The Happy Hunter II
The vessel is a 41-foot Pacifica, which was re-powered with new Cummins 400c turbocharged diesel engines in February 2007.
A Northern Light genset provides AC
power to drive our air conditioning system, microwave,
stove and 2 DVD screens on board. This vessel has had
only three owners and has never been used for charter
work until Action Plus Adventures purchased it in the
summer of 2004. At that time it only had 1,800 hours
on its engines and was acquired in pristine condition.
All systems on board are in operational order and we
will test all systems upon request and will offer a
10% discount if any system does not meet your satisfaction.
Ask to see our engine compartment. This is the life
and soul of any vessel and a spotless environment will
give an insight as to how well the vessel is maintained.
Engine and systems logbooks are meticulously maintained.
Safety is our biggest priority.
A fully enclosed cabin area provides
environmentally controlled comfort; shielding you from
harsh sunlight or drizzling rain. A fly bridge that
can accommodate 4 passengers comfortably is also enclosed
for protection.
Two full heads and a hot and cold
fresh water shower system compliments our cabin area.
Equipment
We are equipped with Shimano Tiagra 2 speed reels in
30, 50, 80 and130 pound classes for heavy tackle. Medium
tackle consists of Penn level wind systems and Shimano
TDL systems. Ultra light tackle, although not recommended,
are available upon request. You are also welcome to
bring your own tackle and gear.
The bridge is equipped with a horizon
UHF radio for emergency and ship to ship communication,
a CB radio for ship to ship, a standard horizon GPS
Plotter system, a Furuno fish finder and depth recorder
capable of putting out 3000 watts of power and an interface
forward scanning fish finder; along with an Alpine stereo,
CD, MP3 player throughout the vessel round out our electronics
systems.
Like our guarantee on vessel mechanical
systems, all electronic gear comes with a 10% discount
if not operational before departure. A state of the
art Simrad autopilot system is also installed.
